So far so bad. Provided a string of unproceedable potential buyers with low offers, insisting they were genuine (but obviously not having checked) and promptly ceasing marketing. The true position of each potential buyer seemed to be easily found by other agents when trying to buy. Each offer took at least 2 months to come to nothing.As an agent they may have been good once but now they have more work than they can handle, their service is no longer delivered with reasonable care and skill. If the latest potential buyer turns out to be not as presented again we will be making a formal complaint to trading standards.
The service from this company was absolutely horrific. Never had any staff available to do any showings. The progresser didn't do the job, and as a result we lost out on the house of our dreams. I guess the small guys with small commissions don't matter to this company.I would never ever recommend them.
Purchased a property through Miles & Bar exclusive - kept us informed throughout, answered calls and queries promptly and acted in a thoroughly professional manner. In comparison to my selling agents they were night and day better. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this company for your sale
An estate agent to avoid! Having had an offer accepted, the sales progressor was instrumental in us eventually pulling out. Even warned the manager to take them off the sale, but took no action. Poor people, property back on the market, oblivious to Miles & Barr's incompetence.
Don't use Miles and Barr. They charge absolutely unbelievable fees. I work at a lettings agency and I've never seen anything like this before. The staff are incredibly rude and blunt. They try and make you pay extra rent and are genuinely the worst agency I've ever dealt with. What a shame. I will never be using them again and will try and spread the word as much as possible.
