Nice enough station with two platforms.
neat, clean and within walking distance to the Canterbury cathedral.
Busy station sometimes (peak hours), easy to get in and out, excellent service every time, clean and quick on time trains, easier than the car. The snack bar is okay, nice coffee. The only downfall is the short train rail, sometimes you have to change your location in train in order to get out (not enough space in the train station)
Great station, well maintained, has both self service ticket machines and a ticket office. It's biggest advantage over Canterbury East station is the high speed train services to London, which get you to Stratford or London St Pancras in less than an hour. It's pricer to take the high speed services, compared to the Canterbury East train to London Victoria, but saves you so much time.
