Lovely place lots of space well catered for
Beautiful, peaceful site. Approach roads are quite uneven and narrow. There is a large pub that has meals and entertainment just 100 yrds up the road. The site is very level and grass only (Electricity is available). Small shower blocks and facilities for disabled, but clean. It is not a cheap site but we found it was worth paying the bit extra for the peace and quiet even though the site was quite busy (Weekend Mid July 2018). We are likely to return for a weekend stay or midweek break.
Recommend by another campsite as they were full. Very welcoming down to earth people. We stayed on Saturday 1 night. We realised when setting up caravan our cable for the electricity had gone missing and the lady of the house borrowed us one which was over and above customer service for a campsite. Will return again thank you. Peacefull and quiet The Prince of Wales on the corner very helpful and friendly Management and helpfull staff. Live music on Sunday afternoon. Will return soon. Stayed here many times. Very friendly and helpful owners. Superb facilities...home from home in the heart of the garden of England. Beautiful surroundings and lots to do. Many happy memories of this lovely place.
