A nice little woodland area for camping and they have a pizza oven on site
Great place for kids to play and go fishing. Lots of climbing trees and swings. Nice people!
A wonderful campsite run by delightful people. We camped in the camping wood, and it was idyllic. And hot showers and flushing loos that were always clean. What's not to love! Will definitely return.
Love this place. wonderful family atmosphere . Jed And family always make us feel welcome. He loves a curry too. 5* doesn't do it justice. should be more.
This is by far the best UK campsite I have been to. A large group of us with umpteen kids spend a week each year in a different campsite and make a point of never going back to the same place twice so we can continue exploring. We are practically all agreed we will come back again and again to Nethergong. The site is simply beautiful (we camped between the duck ponds) but there are so many other nice little areas to camp in that you could have a different experience each time you camped here. It's a large site and in no way feels crowded which was lovely and owes to Jed and Christine's policy of keeping to a limited number of bookings for the site. I've been to far too many other sites where it always feels a bit cramped but it was certainly not like that here. The facilities were excellent: no chucking sawdust down the long drop and tepid solar showers here (!) but fully functioning clean, flushing toilets and powerful, hot showers instead. Jed and Christine (and all the family) were just lovely and so welcoming. Dan on his quad was extremely helpful and friendly. The shop and cafe had a small selection of essentials but also sold a selection of amazing local cheeses. The soft smoked camembert was divine! There's plenty to see and do in this part of Kent so Nethergong is a perfect place to set up base camp and explore from. We can't wait to come back!
