One of the better sites in the south east. Very quiet mainly
Talked us in after dark, got lost with 11 metre set up in lanes. Nightmare! Site brilliant nice large well kept pitches. Facilities spotless. Stay here again deffo.
Great place to stay. 20 minutes to walk into town or catch the bus right outside on the main road. Very quiet on site. The toilets very clean.
A good three nights stay on this campsite. Friendly staff when we checked in and showed our pitch. Caught the bus from outside the site into Canterbury. Husband used the facilities more than me but, all looked good and was lovely warm inside, very clean when I did use. This is our second time here but, longer and finding the site isn't easy, I hope next time we come we will remember there is no ring road sign and it's part of the town and once we're near the uni we follow the road upto the golf club and St Martin's hospital and we're on the right road.
Large, but very well equipped site. Plenty of facilities for the number of pitches including a large play area for children. Just one mile from the town centre makes it an easy walk or cycle ride to explore the town, cathedral and historic sites. Very quiet overnight. Less than 25 minutes from the ferry terminal at Dover makes it a convenient stopping place before travelling on to France and further afield. Really friendly and helpful staff on reception. Well worth a visit to explore the local area or as a stopover before moving on to France.
