I have just cancelled my appointment to have my iPad repaired this morning. I am Certainly not prepared to waste my time and money on a company who apparently demonstrate such arrogance and provide such poor customer service. I would usually give the benefit of doubt but given the weight of poor feedback here I have decided to try elsewhere.
Made a special trip to them as an apple authorized repair store for a repair as defect with new phone out the box.No issue was raised with the repair at the time of booking, after providing my imei and proof of purchase, but upon arrival several days later they decided to reject the warranty, despite having it in writing from Apple that it was, and proof of purchase showing it was brand new. They expected me to allow them to keep the device with them for a week with all my data on it for them to 'decide if they could help me or not.' and told me I would have to pay.After speaking with Apple I was advised not to waste any further time in Stormfront as they weren't helping, and to leave and post it off direct to Apple instead. Totally wasted trip, waste of time and upsetting experience. Don't know how it's Apple endorsed, Apple themselves suggested I lodge a complaint as they are supposed to provide a professional service at the same level as Apple or above but clearly did not. I told Apple the whole story who were very interested to learn about Stormfront scamming customers and not honoring Apple policy and warranty.
Booked an appointment via the call centre for a free battery replacement as part of the Apple program for any eligible iphone 6s. I clearly explained to the guy on the phone that i had done the eligibility test on Apples site which confirmed my phone was eligible and i wanted a free replacement. Took a couple of hours off work and traveled to Canterbury. Got to the shop to be told that they can only install their "own battery" for a cost, or i would have to send the phone off to Apple and wait 5 to 7 days to get it back. I explained about the phone call to the call centre, which made no difference, i said they have wasted my time etc...but left with no new battery. The guy in the shop stood holding my phone, saying sorry and staring at me, fully expecting i am sure for me to give in and give the go ahead, and pay for one of their so called own batteries. Quite obviously a scam, or the call centre/shop people are completely clueless in what they can and cant do. Considering the amount of bad reviews on here you would think someone with any kind of management capability would have addressed this obvious failure of basic business practices. Steer well clear, i am off to a real Apple shop in London.
Useless and rude. Just wanted to buy an apple watch. I asked to try on different bands and was made to look an idiot for even asking by a young woman with black hair. Left with nothing. I guess they don't want commission!
Unbelievably unprofessional. Call centre NEVER open when advertised, impossible to contact and they don't respond to emails. Can't believe Apple put their name to these people
