Best store in the world. Second time they save us with last minute shopping.
Placed an order on fast track.picked it up without checking. Next day I received a phone call whilst away from home ? Had I been given the wrong item? Would check later and get back to them. Got home and checked and was wrong item. So, return call to original phone call_ no reply. Umpteen times same result. Tried various customer service numbers- nothing but various options that were not relevant. Finally spoke to someone at the store who knew what I was talking about and told me that there was no point calling back on the number they had called me on as it was a number out only and said nameless person should have given me the number to call back on. Apologised but couldn't arrange to have correct item delivered to local Sainsbury store as requested, to obviate the trip to Canterbury. Offered 5 as petrol money!! Phoned customer services and told same story. So, to summarise, they gave me wrong item and caused me to spend the best part of an afternoon on the phone ( because they didn't tell me their phone number was call out only and no-one answered the other numbers I tried) and the best they can do is to offer me 5 petrol money. This is not acceptable.
An absolute shower. Waited 15 minutes in a queue at customer services as no one was at a till, only to be moved to another queue at the empty tills. Whole experience cost me 30 minutes of my life.
The best Argos store Ive been to! Great, friendly and helpful staff, willing to go the extra mile to help. I would recommend this store to anyone!
