I came to Slaters looking for a suit for my wedding and to also hire for the groomsmen. I found the perfect suit for myself and the gentleman who served me (James) provided an excellent all round service giving me plenty of information on their hiring services. I felt well looked after and very relaxed. I went to another "popular" taylors a few doors down and was astounded by how different the whole experience was. I couldn't recommend Slaters enough they truly are a cut above the rest and deserve all the praise they get. Their staff are welcoming, patient, look after the customer and create a very comfortable atmosphere.
If you are a larger gent and looking for a perfect place to grab a suit, try here. I have been shopping here for a long time now and I have always had great service and the suits and fairly priced with a good variety of options. Well worth the two hour trip for me to get there.
Love this mens outfitters. Staff are so welcoming here and really do try and help you not just sell you something. Although they have top rate stuff in here they also have affordable ranges too without compromising on the quality. There shoes are amazingly great value although paying a little more I find that my teenage son goes though alot less of them (growing out of them instead of the falling apart)
Just been in this morning. Got served by a very helpful chap. He was knowledgeable , fair, and not pushy. He listened and we left feeling happy and treated with respect despite me looking like I'd just woke up. I sometimes feel with these shops that the salesmen can be pushy. But this guy was far from it. He was complimentary and proffessional. Just the service I wanted. We left with a nice blue tweed 3 piece suit and shoes to match. I complimented him to to lady at the till so hopefully he gets the praise he deserves
