A place far far better than I expected. Quality products and people who didn't talk down to me because I wasn't mega bucks. Will definitely go there again.
I couldn't recommend Canterbury HiFi more strongly. Stuart and his team were incredibly helpful right from the word go, recommending the right equipment for my needs, letting me audition it in my own home (not a service you'll find offered by most hifi shops), and, above all, taking a great deal of time and trouble installing it and making quite sure that I knew how to get the very best out of it. I've bought hi-fi and home cinema equipment for nearly 30 years, and this is the best service I've ever had.
Amazing shop with very helpful staff. I went to the shop to buy a pair of bookshelf speakers and was torn between a pair of Q150 and bower and Wilkins, they were very helpful in explaining the differences between the two and also ways what recommended amplifiers to use. They also set both of them up for me to hear. In the end I decided on the q150 after discussing my room setup and listening positions due to the q150s wider sweet spot. They also offered to drop of to my house the same day as I didn't have transportation and was going to get a taxi they very timely and helpful.Would definitely recommend them and will definitely be coming back once I've decided on my next piece of equipment.

Superb sales service from people who really do understand hi fi equipment and the emerging technologies. I enjoyed two extensive demo sessions listening to different genres of music to be able to confidently select the right amplifier and tuner for my needs assisted by a very helpful sales person who displayed wide knowledge without making me feel uncomfortable or clueless about the products. The shop is well laid out and to anyone wanting to make a quality audio purchase the whole buying experience is made very easy at Canterbury HiFi. Thank you.
