I think having this Cathedral in Canterbury is truly special. Amazing building, a really nice day out irrespective of your faith. If you are a Christian it's free to enter on Sundays or service days...So much history here. If you need a guide for this or are interested in discounts, offers 2 for 1 and eating out then hire me and save

Absolutely love the Cathedral. Immense historic building that I could walk around for days and days. The martyrdom was eerie, knowing what happened and having learned about it at school. I'd encourage visitors to look up regularly to see the ornate ceiling architecture. Especially so, under the central tower.

A greatly improved welcoming team, and a very fair admission charge. The cathedral, partly undergoing interior repairs, is still an absolute gem. Guides are good and the atmosphere oozes history and tradition. Delighted to see that the work on the organ is well underway and being undertaken by an outstanding team from Harrison and Harrison. Can't wait for 2020 and the worldwide diocesan conference when this instrument will be fully installed and waiting to thrill the world.

As you would expect full of history. Unfortunately quite a bit of restoration work was being carried out on the inside and outside. The cafe wasn't up to much. It was a cold day and they cooked nothing hot. Found plenty of nice restaurants outside though. A cathedral you must visit. I have been several times, yet still find it so incredibly interesting.

It literally gave me goosebumps when I walked in! The building is SO beautiful. Architecture inside and out is incredible. A world heritage site and if you visit you can see why! The stained glass is really impressive. You can walk around the grounds also. Refreshments are available outside of the cathedral. I hope to go back because you can't take it all in on a first visit. Well worth the ticket entry price. Even with the many visitors it is peaceful.
