Food was really good, service not so much, owner looked stressed and miserable running around and waited ages to order and get a simple baguette
Excellent little cafe, near to Canterbury town centre, with very friendly, helpful staff. The food was lovely and fresh with an Italian influence and not overpriced. Good atmosphere and a courtyard garden is open in the summer. I would definitely recommend the Saffron cafe and will be returning very soon.
I've not eaten a meal here yet, just snacks, but the tea and coffee are good and the staff are friendly. A cosy, casual place.
Lovely little cafe/diner. One of those city secrets you both want to let people know about (because it's good) and don't (because you don't want it to get over crowded!!). Tucked away on a Canterbury side street, it's a little gem of a diner that's perfect for breakfast or a cuppa.
We like to have a light lunch here on visits to Canterbury. It's a light and airy space, staff are friendly and helpful, food is freshly prepared and good quality. A treasure of a cafe, not to be missed.
