Good service, food and coffee
Lovely real French food and people, peaceful sanctuary in the centre of Canterbury.
Unfortunately we found this not to be dog friendly,we were met by the lady who jumped a mile at the sight of our miniature doodles and told us they cant be touched because she handles food in the back(Id like to think shed wash her hands before handling food with or without dogs present) seeing that the cafe was busy and we are courteous to other customers we found a couple of seats near the door only to be told we were told we were to close to the food which was behind a glass casing. Cant comment on the food as we didnt get that far but not a great experience in the dog friendly category.
An excellent little cafe, you walk in and through to the garden to the back and its like you've walked through a secret medieval door from Canterbury straight to somewhere like France! The food is excellent and service great. Definitely stop by for coffee and cake or a little lunch. Escape the crowd outside and sit somewhere cool and tranquil, it's really a great little place.
