I used Direction Law to buy my new flat. The process worked out very well (despite various challenges such as valuation discussions along the way!). I kept in close contact with the team and found them nice, hands-on and helpful. Would recommend them and use them again myself
I was recommended Direction Law by the housebuilder we were purchasing a property from and based on past experience of such recommendations my expectations werent high. I am glad to say I was proven wrong however. I found Direction Law to be professional, efficient and pro-active. They kept me updated with regular texts and emails so I always knew where we were in the process and their use of an online portal which allowed me to download important documents instantly rather than have to wait for them to arrive in the post ensured things moved at a quick pace. As a result of Direction Laws help we were ready to exchange contracts on both our sale and our purchase 8 weeks before the rest of the chain and whats more, the fee they quoted was as competitive than any other we received and cheaper than most. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future. Highly recommended.
They're doing a great job, to helping who's 1St time buyer, give a lot help n advance.. They're done a good job. Thanks
I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. We used Direction Law to sell our flat. We had to chase for updates and explanations at every stage. Expectations were poorly managed and response times were very slow. You will not regret paying a few hundred pounds more to go with a different firm and I strongly recommend asking for a referral from someone who has had a good experience when selling their property.
Me and my partner were considering our options for a conveyance solicitor and received a competitive quote from Direction Law. As a legal professional myself, I was impressed with the level of client care and attentiveness from the firm, especially from Jason Wharfe. When I explained that we were first time buyers purchasing a shared ownership property through a housing association, Jason was understanding and allowed us time to consider our options. I explained to Jason that the housing association had preferences as to which firm of Solicitors we use and that we were considering our option, Jason was polite and courteous and offered general advice and guidance should we need it. Unfortunately, we have opted to instruct an alternate firm of Solicitors due to advice from our financial advisor and the desire for us to use the Housing Association's panel solicitors however, Direction Law were truly professional prior to any instruction and I can only assume the great service would have continued had we formally instructed. We certainly will consider it next time!
