Lively lady works there. She dropped us at our destination, after returning the rented car. She was a very good, lovely conversationlist and the customer service was nice. I would've given a 5 star rating if we hadn't have to replace the tire, as the low pressure should have been thoroughly checked first before issuing us the car. Brand new car as well, fast and quite but the new tired did cost 170...not good but it was either that or loose the entire 250 deposit and fork out more. Real shame on that point
Poor service.....I booked my car with Enterprise as they are the company I always use in Canada and have always had great service. This branch put a stop to that. The manager would wanted to do something called an address search, but when I explained I am visiting and travelling the UK and need a car for 2 weeks (which i had booked) the manager just said no. "Look at my account with you guys" - 'that's not my job' I was told - I ended up calling another company (Kendell Cars) who had a premium class car at a lower weekly charge....the most unhelpful branch ever...your loss Enterprise.
Not only the guy at the reception was extremely rude, Ive been asked an amount of paperworks and proof of address that I couldnt obviously provide, even though it was clear I am a regular UK resident an all my documents were perfectly matching. Stear clear from this place, practical car is way more reliable (and kind with his customers). Manners guys, manners.
So I hired a van from this branch, The service on the staff are very good and helpful cannot disagree with that, However Enterprise as a company massively disappointed they charge a more than the rental to reduce your excess per day now my understanding is you pay it for the rental not for each day and the cost of it is massive!! On a van the excess is 1,250 or if you pay 35 per day its 250.00 so they all most black mail you into doing it as no one wants to pay that massive amount! I would advise anyone locally to Canterbury to visit Lobster Van hire much better rates same van and the max excess with them is 600 so more than half and if want to bring that down to 300 its only 8 daily! A much better deal all around!!!
