Great venue for both food or drinks. The cell rooms are great for small groups away from the usually rammed-tight bar area and the upstairs dinning area is quiet enough for conversation over food. Parking nearby is very limited (welcome to Canterbury) but a it's only a short walk of a few blocks to permit free street parking for an evening.
Arrived...was told the kitchen was closed. No sign outside saying. It was New Years Eve and town was busy why was the kitchen shut. Then...no baby changing facilities for a Dad to use. Was told I could use one of the bar chairs. Then the coke I ordered was flat but I was told it was fine. Will not come back or recommend

An easy 5 stars to award for a tricky enjoyable escape game. Set in the original atmospheric prison cells the game is full of challenging clues that will test everyone. The story to unfold is authentic with brilliant props. The excellent host provides a briefing and once escaped a detailed debrief that was informative and amusing. Shame it ended. Highly recommended.
