Visited for afternoon tea, sat in a cosy corner and enjoyed a huge selection of cakes and sandwiches, absolutely worth the trip!

A beautiful looking patisserie with ample seating that sell a great selection of cakes, plus an extensive menu of breakfasts, main meals, plus sandwiches, as well as hot & cold beverages.I ordered the eggs royale with a strong cappuccino, my food was really delicious and well cooked, but sadly my drink never arrived until at least 5mins after i had finished my food & it was weak, too foamy & almost cold, i just think they forgot to bring it over which was such a shame, as i was freezing & needed the drink first, but i wanted it HOT.
I had the festive afternoon tea,It was really good. Cakes do not get better than what Patisserie Valerie sell. The staff are helpful and polite and the restaurant is very clean and looks good.
Usually only get cakes to take away here, but we decided to have hot meal here today. Was told it would be a 5 minute wait for a table which was accurate but it the took approx 15 minutes for a waitress to take our order. Once the food was ordered it took approx half an hour to arrive (which was ok) Our waitress clearly couldnt be bothered and obviously would rather have not been there. I would not go there to seat and eat again. Very disappointing
