The gallery is in a very old building and staff are friendly. They also run evening classes such as portraits, life drawing, Chinese brush drawing etc. I have been to a few and they have been brilliant - well organised with materials provided, excellent price and knowledgeable teachers who can either leave you to it or give advice/feedback.
Conquest House is a very old historic building on the Kings mile. It reputed to be the house where the knights stayed before they murdered Thomas Beckett. Access for wheelchair users is not possible as it was built prior to wheelchair use also its a grade 1 listed building as are a number of other building in the area opposite the cathedral.
A lovely place to learn art and enjoy live music, supervised by the artist proprietor, Katherine.
